Arsenal is an independent poetry magazine focusing on unpublished or not-so-well-known writers and photographers from Bucharest’s local scene. Light but gutsy poems paired with punchy and memorable visuals.
Does not stand by any literary movement, only the friction of feelings.
The official first issue tackles loneliness in a subjective but revealing way, from its terrors to its comforts. Nuances of solitude ranging from feeling alone in a couple to enjoying your own company, or coping with complete isolation. This issue includes light but longer poems joined by street photography, paintings and scans, which create a 48 page manifesto about being all by yourself.
Includes one A4 poster and an audio CD minimix.
48 pages, 15 x 21 cm, softcover
